土石坝设计案例（Dam design case） Case 2 reinforcement design of Lixian Sifang bridge earth rock dam 1 engineering tasks and scales .1.1 reservoir overview Sifang bridge reservoir is located in the Hunan province of Lixian, is a tributary of Lishui censhui River, located in northern Lixian Wangjiachang hub Town, location of longitude 111 degrees north latitude and 29 degrees 15 , 34, from the Lixian county about 30km. Sifang reservoir started construction in 1958 and was completed and put into operation in 1974. It is a small (1) reservoir with irrigation as the main part and comprehensive benefits of flood control and cultivation. Design irrigation area of 4000 mu, of which 2900 acres of paddy fields, 1100 acres of dry land, irrigation design guarantee rate of 75%, the benefit areas include the royal family factory, town and other 5 units. The water surface area of the reservoir can be raised to 166 mu. Square area is 4.073k square meters control dam bridge reservoir, the total capacity of 1 million 654 thousand and 600 m3, the normal water level of the reservoir is 88.53m, the corresponding normal capacity of 1 million 390 thousand m3. The reservoir is a small (1) reservoir, belonging to IV and other projects. The main buildings are grade 4, and the secondary buildings are 5. Reservoir junction project consists of dam, spillway and irrigation culvert. The dam is a homogeneous earth dam, crest elevation 92.00m, 14.27m high dam, crest width 5.3m, the axial length of 356m, the upper slope ratio is 1:2.5. The downstream dam slope is divided into three levels, the first level from 92.00m to 85.00m elevation, slope is 1:2.0, a platform, platform width 6.0m; second from 85.00m to 81.50m elevation, slope is 1:2.5, a platform, platform width 8.0m. Third from 81.50m to 79.80m, the lower slope elevation is 77.73, slope of 2.0m high rockfill drainage. In the spillway on the right bank of the dam, to open wide and shallow spillway and overflow weir crest elevation 88.53m, width 22.0m,
