Firstly, the difference betw een Web 2. 0- based parts library and Web 1.0-based parts library was analyzed, and the key technologies involving in Web 2. 0- based parts library w ere summarized. Secondly, the framew ork of Web 2.0-based parts library w as presented. A- round this framew ork, the applicat ion technologies of Web 2. 0 technology in parts library w ere st udied, further- more, combining Web 2. 0-based self-organizing model, parts libraryps self-organizing technology and tag ontology construction and maintenanceps self-organizing technology w ere studied. Finally, the prototype of Web 2. 0-based parts library management system w as developed to provide a novel way for promoting the popularization of parts libraryps const ruct ion, maintenance, use and the ordering of resources in parts library .
