Finally I would like to say a thanks to the online friends who helped me solve the problem when the system of my laptop had something wrong. Abstract With the deepening of opening-up policy of China, more and more western cultural products are introduced, such as English movies. However not all the Chinese can appreciate the original English films, so the translation of the English subtitles is necessary to the most audience. The languages in some movies are pretty spoken, including plenty of slangs and idioms, and the traditional translation theories perhaps can not be applicative. Skopostheorie is a sort of translation way which focuses on the purpose of the translation, and it is more practical. The translation strategies of Skopostheorie-oriented, centering on Chinese spectators, can make a film understood more easily.
