From the drama to the cinema, the theory of “alienation effect” is also suitable for interpreting the text. Film influences the configuration of the reality by the way of montage and alienation. The object of “alienation effect” is the audience both in the drama and film. Brecht challenged Aristotle’s proposition such as emotional resonance in drama, and tried to promote the audiences’ independent consciousness and practice by “alienation effect”. “Alienation effect” is a way to ob- tain the ethical literary value of artistic works; “alienation effect” is not effective without ethical literary value.
