Reason for the Study According to the paper, the Tam-Kee crossing track（淡基橫斷古道）posseses as important historic value as the Tapparri way（金包里大路）, which has already been restored. They are all worth our great attention to preserving and sustainably managing. the study stresses the whole route, which starts east at the port of Keelung（基隆）and ends west at the port of Tamsui.（淡水） 2.
