However, the existing CAE technology of injection molding does not take the mould deformation into account. In this study, a simplified mechanical model of in⁃ jection mould was first proposed, and then a structure analysis system integrated with CAE software for injection molding was developed. In our simulation, the pressure fields of polymer melt, which is obtained from CAE software HSCAE for the filling analysis of in⁃ jection molding, are imported as external boundary loads into structure analysis software ANSYS for deformation analysis. Experiments were performed to verify the proposed numer⁃ ical simulation approach. The results show that the deformation of the mould cavity can be used as an effective supplement to the warpage resulting from the injection molding pro⁃ cesssimulationthat will improvetheaccuracy of the CAEsoftware.
