In 2005, the cent er was listed as a national demonst ration center by the Minist ry of Education aft er the center had achie ed the great successes in the reform of experimentation education adm inistration system, the construction of teaching laboratories and instrument conditions, the construction of experimentation teaching team, the reform of t he experimentation content system and education mode, the radicalization and demonstration of the center, and the im pro ement of students experimentat ion research abilit y since 2000. The national demonstration center for life science experi- mentation education in Xiamen Uni ersit y has kept up its construction and de elopment since 2005 for furt her ad ancing the experimentation content sy stem, enhancing the characteristics of experimentation education, and producing the radicalization and demonstrat io
