二语习得中的情感因素在英语阅读中的作用_英语论文 Abstract In college English teaching and learning, reading is one of the most important parts. It is increasingly becoming an important means for college students to get information. Meanwhile, recent studies suggest that affective factors have a significant impact on college English reading. However, we have been overemphasizing the importance of studentsrsquo; cognition factors in the learning process, while ignoring the function of affective factors in the past few years. In fact, affective factors, such as motivation, anxiety, personality, attitude and self-esteem, are the vital factors in English reading process, which would affect college studentsrsquo; reading habit and studying purpose If we fully recognize the significance of the affective factors and use every possible means to make use of them, we can, to some extent, stimulate studentsrsquo; interests and arouse their positive emotions in English learning so as to achieve the teaching aims and improve the learning effect.10545 This paper aims to analyze the influence from affective factors in college English reading. Beginning with a brief introduction, the paper clarifies the concepts of affective factors and relevant studies both home and abroad. And then it is followed by an analysis of Chinese learnerrsquo;s affective factors in college English reading from the perspective of interest, motivation, and anxiety. To get a better understanding of affective factors, questionnaire survey is used on 106 college students. Finally, the enlightenment is put forward by data analysis to promote the learnersrsquo; reading ability.
