W e construct an endo enous row th model containin corruption index and pub lic expenditure, wh ich shows that corruption w ou ld affect the com position of pub lic expend iture because of the d ifferent d ifficu lt de ree of corruption in different type of pub lic expend iture. Based on the emp irical evidence in Ch ina from 1995 to 2004, it says that corruption reduced the proportion of the expenditure of social cu lture and education.
