T he eff ects of chir p parameter o n the spatio tempo ral and spectral pr operties ar e illustr ated w ith analytical for mulas and numerical calculatio n r esult s. It is 2 found that if the chirp parameter C is r elativ ely small , the onax is spectr al blueshifts incr ease by C times, the on 2 1/ 2 axis spectral bandw idth increases by ( 1+ C ) times, and the offax is spectral redshifts also incr ease consider ably.
