The evaluation and analysis on the energy efficiency of room air conditioners and refrigerators in China
Abstract In this paper, the energy consumption of the room air conditioners in China is a na lyzed. T he energy conserva
tion methods a re ana lyzed a nd compa red tec hnically a nd economica lly from the view poi nts of LCC, PBP a nd environ
ment. We find that the manufa cture cost of the air conditioner must be decreased and the operation cost considering the
influence on environment should be increa sed i n order to reduce the LCC a nd the PBP of the i mprovement design prod
ucts. In addition, the limited energy value a nd the energy efficiency la bel of the refrigerators are a nalyzed a nd the meth
ods of improving the energy efficiency a re provided.
