金属基复合材料（Metal matrix composite） A composite based on metal or alloy and reinforced with fibers, whiskers, particles, etc.. The range of temperature is 350~120 degrees, depending on the base metal used. The characteristics in mechanics for high lateral and shear strength, mechanical toughness and fatigue performance, but also has the thermal conductivity, wear resistance, thermal expansion coefficient, good damping and moisture, no aging and no pollution etc..
