Abstract: To con firm how the thickness o f the so ft so il layer affects the earthquake response of subw ay sta tion, the
fin iteelem ent m ethod is used to m odel the dynam ic interaction system of so ilsubw ay station, in w hich nine so ft
sites w ith d ifferent thicknesses o f so ft so il layers are used as the foundation of subw ay station respectively. By the
research resu lts in this paper and others g iven by the authors before, it is d isadvantageous to the earthquake resist
