In recent years, Chinese medical workers have done a lot of work on the research of the virus. But so far, there is no effective treatment for Western medicine. Although there is no research report on the use of Chinese medicine to the virus, however, it can be inspired by past treatment experience. For example, for patients with unexplained elevated aminotransferase levels (many of whom may be TTV infected), treatment with traditional Chinese medicine can achieve better results. In this paper, the characteristics of TTV infection and the treatment of TCM syndrome differentiation are discussed as follows. 1 Characteristics of TTV infection TTV is distributed widely, its biological behavior may be similar to the HBV, as a single strand DNA virus without envelope, classified in Parvoviridae (Patvoviridae) gene sequence, about 3.7Kb, ORF1 and ORF2 containing two open reading frame encoding 770 and 202 amino acids respectively. Sequence analysis showed that the nucleotide variation of some ORF1 genes in TTV isolates was up to 30%. This disease has a high incidence in our country. Zhang Jianshu et al. (5) collected serum and stool samples from a natural village in Shandong. Nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect the virus and detect liver function.
