The unprecedented global warming will have profound longOterm impacts onterrestrial plants and ecosystems. Responses of terrestrial plants and ecosystems to global warming may feedback to climate changevia ecosystem and global carbon cycling. As oneof themajormethodology in global change research, ecosystem warming studies canfacilitatemodel projections onpotential changes inter- restrial biomes interms of parameterization andvalidation. The difficulty in comparing and integrating the re- sultsfromvarious ecosystems manipulatedwith different warming facilities exacerbatedtheuncertainties of mod- el prediction. In this paper, field facilities in simulating climatewarming and their potential applications in different terrestrial biomeswere discussed.
