The lagging development of refrigerated transport equipment industry is one of the main factors restricting our refrigerated transport industry developing rapidly. Through comparing the development status of domestic and international refrigerated transport and refrigerated transport equipment industry, the problems in the development of refrigerated transport and refrigerated transport equipment industry were analyzed, such as market in disarray, high transport costs, poor overall competitiveness, backward refrigeration technology and high energy consumption and so on. Applying domestic refrigerated transport industry characteristics, suggestions on the national policy, profession supervising, function of industrial association, establishment of information sharing platform and refrigerated transport equipment research and development were put forward for developing the refrigeration transport and refrigerated transport equipment.
