Difficult points: How to get the Ss’ fast-reading abilities. 三、教学过程 Ⅰ. Warming- up 1. Daily greeting. 2. Enjoying a song. (设计目的:为下面的活动作准备。) Step Ⅱ. Before - reading Do a survey. Work on 2a. Check the after-school activities you and your classmates usually do. (设计目的:小组活动为下面的文章阅读做铺垫。) Step Ⅲ. Discussion Discuss with partner: Do you think many children are under pressure? Are your parents comparing you with other children? (设计目的:通过讨论为下文做准备。) Step Ⅳ. While - reading Fast reading Ask them to read and notice the words in bold. As the read, use the context to help them guess the meaning. Match them with the meanings in 2c. Skim reading Fill in the blacks on the BB. Scan reading Complete the chart on the BB. (设计目的:培养学生的阅读技巧。) Listen to the tape. Do a practice.(2d) Is it important for Sb to join after-school activities? A for agree and D for disagree. Step V.
