Methods combined with the analysis of some cases in our hospital, the choice of myelography was discussed. Results myelography has diagnostic value in lumbar diseases, and the choice of contrast agents is related to the complications. Conclusion reduce the incidence of complications, and some help for clinical work. Keywords myelography; contrast media; lumbar disease; complication; Lumbar myelography (lumbar myelography) by lumbar puncture in the subarachnoid injection of contrast agent to observe the structure of spinal disc and a noninvasive examination method, it can show the contour and spinal dural sac and nerve root of the border, in order to obtain more detailed information. In this hospital from 1994 by ominipaque (aka Omnipaque) do iohexol do lumbar myelography in 29 cases, the lumbar spinal cord of the contrast agent, in the diagnosis of lumbar disease and related complications were analyzed. 1 clinical information 1.1 general data from July 1999 to July 2004, 29 cases of lumbar myelography were performed in our hospital, all of them were treated with Omnipaque. Among them, 8 cases were diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation, 9 cases with lumbar spinal stenosis, 5 cases with lumbar spondylolisthesis, 4 cases with arachnoid cysts, and 3 cases with intraspinal masses. All cases were examined by CTM after myelography, so as to improve the accuracy. 1.2 methods of preoperative angiography morning fasting, waist skin, about allergies, adverse reactions and complications, explain the operation process. 30min intramuscular diazepam before operation 10mg, contrast medium with nipaque, without iodin
