第28 卷第3 期 通 信 学 报 Vol.28 No.3 2007 年3 月 Journal on Communications March 2007 基于阈值的两级指针推进的移动性管理策略 杨进才, 杨雅琴 （华中师范大学计算机科学系，湖北 武汉 430079 ） 摘 要：提出了基于阈值的两级指针推进策略(TPFT，two-level p ointer forwarding with thresholds)将一部分VLR(visitor location register)中的移动用户选为移动代理(MA, mobile agent)，在MA 之间建立第一级指针链；在MA 与VLR 之间建 立第二级指针链，两级指针链均设定长度阈值。将该策略与“基本位置管理策略”及“通行用户指针推进策略”和“带 门槛的指针推进策略”的开销进行比较得出：选择适当的两级阈值，TPFT 策略的开销优于上述策略。同时，TPFT 策 略是将系统中对HLR(home location register) 的修改与查询的信号量分布到各个MA 中，提高了系统效率。 关键词：移动计算；位置管理；阈值；指针推进；HLR/VLR 中图分类号：TN929.5 文献标识码：A 文章编号：1000-436X(2007)03-0134-07 Two-level pointer forwarding strategy with thresholds for mobility management YANG Jin-cai, YANG Ya-qin (Department of Computer Science, Huazhong Normal University, Wuhan 430079, China) Abstract: A two-level pointer forwarding strategy with thresholds is proposed. In this strategy, a part of mobile users in VLR are selected as the MA (mobile agent). A first level pointer is built between MA, and a second level pointer is built between MAs and VLR. Thres holds are set for the two-level pointers. Comparing the cost of the scheme with that of the basic HLR/VLR strategy and the per-user forwarding strategy , result shows the strategy proposed outperforms the others by choosing two suitable thresholds. Furthermore, the system overall efficiency is enhanced by distributing signaling traffics which are produced in searching and updating the HLR to many MA. Key words : mobile computing; location mana
