安全驗證農產品需求之研究 黃璋如 林瑀婷 摘要 關鍵字:聯合分析、需求函數,市場份額、安全驗證農產品、有機農產品 Study on the demand for safety certified agricultural products Chang-Ju Huang-Tzeng, Yu-Ting Lin ’ trade-off between the agricultural products with different prices, food safety level, i.e. organic, TAP, GAP and conventional products. Based on the consumers’ choices, the utilities of each product for each respondent are calculated firstly and then the market shares of each product in the individual level are counted based on the “random first choice method”. Thereafter, the latter ones’ together with the demographical statistics and the consumption behavior descriptive statistics of respondents’ are used to estimate, by regression analysis, the market share equations, which can be regarded as the “demand equations”, of organic, TAP, GAP and conventional products. According to the coefficients on the self-price, prices of substitutes and income of the demand equations, the price elasticities, substitution elasticites, and income elasticities are calculated. The price and income elasticities of organic, TAP, GAP and conventional products are -0.15, -0.50, -0.54, -1.11 and 0.26, 0.19, -0.10, -0.25 respectively. It shows that the higher safety level of the products, the smaller price elasticity and the bigger income elasticity the product has. The negative income elasticities of GAP and conventional products indicate that these two kinds of products are inferior goods. In this study, the market share of these 4 products mentioned above are calculated with 4 methods, i.e. market simulation with conjoint analysis, count method of conjoint analysis, regression equation of demand, and regression results corrected with product availability. The latter one is the best method to estimate the market share. The market share of organic, TAP, GAP and conventional products are 11%, 14%, 34% and 41%, respectively.
