The students are required to know the methods to establish the control equations of elastic problems with variational principles, and its approximation methods, and so on.. The students should: understand the fundamental concepts and basic theories in vatiational principle; know the simplified principle methods and generalized principle methods in elasticity; be able to establish the control equations and boudary conditions on some elastic problems with the inviational principle; konw the approximation methods in elasticity with the variational principle。 三、先修课程 高等数学,材料力学,弹性力学 四、课程内容简介 中 文 本课程主要内容包括： 变分的概念与变分方法； 泛函极值问题所对应的欧拉方程与变分原理； 复杂泛函（包括高阶导数，多元函数，多个子变函数与各种约束）的变分方法； 弹性力学基本理论及基本变分原理； 弹性力学中的多种广义变分原理； 变分原理的直接方法及在弹性力学近似方法中的应用； 梁弯曲、柱体扭转与板弯曲中的变分原理； 变分原理在弹性力学特征值问题与稳定性中的应用； 英 文 The Course includes: Fundamental of variational method; Euler equation and variational principle for functional extreme problems; Variational method for complicated functional with high order derivative, multiple function and multiple variables; Basic of elasticity and specialized (simplified) variational principles; Generalized variational principles in elasticity; Some approximation methods with variational principles in elasticity, Variational principles in beam-bending, bar-torsion and plate-
