United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol constitute the main part of the international co-ordination mechanism on climate change. The Kyoto Protocol went into effect in 2005, from then on, the international co-ordination on climate change went up to a new but most important and difficult stage. My thesis will give a comprehensive analysis on the international co-ordination mechanism and bring up some propositions to perfect it. The thesis has about 30,000 Chinese characters and consists of three parts. The first part is the preface that introduces the implications of the thesis, the internal and international state of research and my methods of research. The second part is the main body of the thesis which consists of six sections. Section 1 is the summarization. In this section, I firstly define some basic concepts such as weather, climate, greenhouse effect, global warming and international co-ordination. And the international co-ordination mechanism here just refers to legal mechanism. Climate change is a global problem and does great harm to the humanity, so the international co-ordination mechanism is quite necessary. Section 2 describes the present conditions of the mechanism.
