英汉语中动物词汇的外延意义及其互译 全世界范围的各个领域都离不开词汇。动物，人类的忠实伴侣，也是文化的一个重要体现。数千年，人们在与动物的接触中，创造了丰富的语汇和形象的比喻。当然，动物在词语或习语的运用上英汉两文化有其相似性与差异性中国学生了解到更多它们的差异性，将能更容易地理解西方文化，从而促进对英语的学习与认识。本文通过分析英汉动物词汇的不同，窥视文化差异，并从而探讨英汉动物词汇的互译方法，加深对西方文化的了解与认识。 ： 动物词汇；中文；英文；外延意义；互译 An comparison of Connotative Meanings of Animals Words between Chinese and English Abstract Vocabulary, a very important reflection of culture, is used in every aspects of life all over the world. Animals, human beings’ companions, also play an essential role in culture. During the many thousands years when we interacted with animals closely, we have discovered their nature and characters. Thus, a great amount of words and phrases and idioms of animals (it is called animal words in this paper) are coined to express a more vivid and cunning meaning. Also, there are similarities and differences between the uses of animal in Chinese and English. It is very easy to judge that Chinese students know more about the differences between them, they can understand the western culture deeper. The original appearance of animals and its nowadays meanings and uses also its translation are studied in this paper in light of the intercultural communication between Chinese and English.
