男性与女性白塞病的对比研究（A comparative study of male and female patients with Behcets disease） A comparative study of male and female patients with Behcets disease 2010-09-06 Liu Xiangyuan, Li Shengguang, Shi Guiying, Huang Cibo, Yuan Guohua, Huang Feng Abstract: Objective To investigate the different gender of Behcets disease (BD) clinical characteristics and prognosis. Methods the clinical manifestations of 50 male BD patients and 34 female BD patients were compared and analyzed. Results compared with women, men with fever as the first symptom of more (P 0.05), severe ophthalmia percentage of ocular involvement was significantly higher than that of female (P 0.05), more men higher performance for acupuncture positive reaction and C- reaction protein (P less than 0.05 and 0.01 respectively), while the positive rate of arthritis / off joint pain and OT test or PPD test was lower (P 0.01). The skin manifestations in males were mostly erythema erythema and folliculitis coexisting with folliculitis (P 0.05), while females were more likely to have simple erythema erythema (P 0.01). Were followed up for an average of 49 months of ocular involvement were found serious blindness rate ophthalmia in male patients was higher than female patients (P 0.05). Conclusion male patients are often seriously ill and have a poor prognosis.
