In most patients, the disease is in the middle and late stages, and should not be removed by surgery [1]. From June 1995 to June 1999, 36 cases of middle and late stage primary liver cancer were treated with self-made Jianpi Decoction, and satisfactory results were achieved. 1 clinical information All the 36 patients were hospitalized patients. There were 29 males and 7 females. The oldest was 71 years old, and the youngest was 26 years old, with an average age of 52 years. The longest course was 6 months, the shortest was 1 months, with an average of 2 months. All cases were diagnosed according to the standard of diagnosis and treatment of common malignant tumors in China (2). The diagnosis and clinical staging criteria of primary liver cancer were confirmed by B-ultrasound, CT, AFP and other examinations. There were 8 cases in metaphase and 28 cases in advanced stage. Among them, the length of tumor ranged from 7cm23 to, and 31 cases had cirrhosis of varying degrees. AFP was 500 mu.
