It must be effectively treated before discharge. Review of the treatment of organic phosphorus pesticide wastewater by biochemical method and its adsorption, hydrolysis, coagulation pretreatment method, conventional chemical oxidation, supercritical water oxidation, electrochemical oxidation, photocatalytic degradation method, chemical method, physical method and ultrasonic method. The main trends of degradation of organophosphorus pesticide wastewater are prospected, including the development of new methods, new equipment, removal mechanisms and influencing factors, kinetic models, new microbial species, advanced detection techniques, etc.. It provides guidance and basis for the selection and design of organophosphorus pesticide wastewater treatment process. Key words: organophosphorus pesticide wastewater; biochemical method; Fenton supercritical water oxidation; ultrasonic method The pesticide industry is one of the major industries in the chemical industry. Organophosphorus pesticides are widely used in China because of their broad spectrum and high efficiency. At present, there are nearly 2000 pesticide manufacturers in China, producing more than 200 kinds of pesticides, with an annual output of 800 thousand tons, ranking second in the world, 80% of them are organophosphorus pesticides [1-, 2]. There are about 115 tons of pesticide wastewater discharged annually in China, of which 7% have been dealt with, and only 1% of them have reached the standard (2].
