Abstract Whether it is from inductive reasoning of management theories or deductive reasoning based on
potential science, symmetric management can be developed. Symmetric management plays a leading role in
threedimensional taxonomy. T his paper analyzes the symmetric mechanism in threedimensional taxonomy
and focuses on interactive development law betw een Scientific Management and Humanistic Management,
M anagement by Problems and M anagement by Objectives. Symmetric management and scientific taxonomy
open up a new approach for logicization and scientification of management theories.
