T he ur anization rate of all part s of China is increased a lot since China imple mented the reform and opening to outside world policy , ut t he difference in ur anizat ion rate etw een different areas is o vi ous, and the promot ion effect of ur anization of diff erent areas on economic grow th is o vious. T he contri ution of ur anization to economic growth is highest in t he w est areas of China, is medium - level in middle areas and is low est in the east areas y comparing the east, middle and w est areas of China, w hich is on the contrary of economic development level. Thus, cont inually accelerating ur anization in middle and w est areas of China is helpful to narrow ing the gap etw e
