Unit 5 Music 教案1 (THE BAND THAT WASN’TPART 1) Introduction In this period, after the warming up, students will first be guided to imagine and share their views about the music. They will then be helped to read a passage entitled THE BAND THAT WASN’T. It’s an introduction about a band called Monkees.. As we know, music is a kind of art of making pleasing combinations of sounds in rhythm, harmony and counterpoint. Music can produce a lively and happy atmosphere and bring people relaxation after hard work, which can reduce the tiredness. Listening to music also makes people feel happy and nice.
