The surface resistance and electromagnetic interference ( EMI) shielding effective- ness of the conductive fabrics w ere measured by four point probe method ( A ST M F 90) and the coax- ial transmission line method ( AST M D49 5- 99) , respectively. Scanning electric microscope ( SEM) analysis w as used to observe the morphology of the fabric during the pretreatment and Cu/ Ni-P coat- ing grow ing process. T he Scotch tape test w as designed to measure the adhesion strength of the metal coating to the PET fabric. The change of breaking strength and elongation of the fabrics before and after metallization w as evaluated by strip method according to GB/ T 92 . 1- 1997.
