教案
教学目标
1.知识目标
2.(1) Ss can listen, read and say the new words and phrases: polar bear,hare, whats over there? catch a hare, swim across the lake, walk through the snow, run up the hill, come to the top, come to a stop.
(2) Ss can say the chant “the polar bear”.
2.能力目标
(1) Ss can say the chant very well.
(2) Listen for details in a chant.
3.情感态度、学习策略、文化意识目标
(1)以小组合作及情景教学为主,同时运用简笔画帮助学生理解与运用所学知识。
(2)培养学生热爱自然、热爱动物的情感。
教学重难点

(2)Say the chant.

1. (1)New words: polar bear, hare
(2)Phrases: whats over there? catch a hare, swim across a lake, walk through the snow, run up the hill, come to the top, come to the stop
(3) Review the singular form of the third person.
教具准备
tape, cassette recorder, word cards, pictures.
教学过程
(一)复习、热身
1.Greetings
2.Free talk
T: Whats the date today?
Ss: Its Wednesday.
T: Whats the weather like today? Ss: Its warm.
T: Lets say the chant:
Spring is warm. Summer is hot.
Autumn is cool. Winter is cold.
(二)新知呈现与教授
1.But its very cold in the Arctic.(教师通过PPT呈现Arctic的冰天雪地),你们知道在这样的地方,有些什么样可爱的动物呢?接着呈现有关北极的五个动物,引出单词:The seal The arctic fox The arctic hare The polar bear The snowy owl .
2.让学生观察这五个单词,如何有效的学习它们?
fox---- the arctic fox hare----the arctic hare sea----seal
bear----the polar bear snow—snowy---the snowy owl
通过观察新单词里有认识的单词。如何迅速的记住它们呢?
我们一起来chant(配上即将学习的chant节奏)
the fox the fox the arctic fox
the hare the hare the arctic hare
the bear the bear the polar bear
the owl the owl the snowy owl
3. My favorite arctic animal is the polar bear. Whats your favorite arctic animal?引导学生用big, cute, beautiful, white, lovely等来回答。
4.Look, what do the polar bear want to do?
PPT呈现教材15页上面北极熊想抓北极兔的图片。
同时老师在黑板上用简笔画画出来。(见板书设计)
将polar bear 和arctic hare图片分别贴在简笔画的两边。
教师站在远处指着polar bear 问:Whats over there?
指名答:A polar bear.
T: Whats it doing over there? 生可以说中文,老师引出英语句子
It wants to catch the hare. 练读该句。
