Learn to care about others and be kind, friendly to them. 三、教学方法 Speaking and talking method; practice 四、预习准备 1. Get the new words ready for each lesson before class. 2. Preview the text of lesson 17. 五、学习流程 Step 1 Review Let the students practice in pairs like this: T: Good morning, class. T: What day is it today? T: How tall are you? Step 2 New words Take one arm and one knife. Pretend to cut the arm and say “I cut my arm, it hurts.” Let the students guess the meaning of cut, arm, hurt. In the same way, teach toothache, stomachache, sick, doctor. Step 3 New sentences Ask a student to pretend to be sick. Then ask the student “What’s the matter? Are you sick” Repeat the sentences, make sure the students understand their meanings. Encourage the students to read the sentences in groups. Step 4 Listen, read and practice If there are mistakes, correct them together. Step 5 Practice in pairs. If the students make some mistakes, the teacher corrects them. Step 6 Summary Go over the words and language points. Step 7 Homework 1. Read the text and practice the dialogue. 2. Write a short passage in English, describe the scene that you see a doctor.
