We say “thank you” for our food, family and friends. 功能:谈论和描述感恩节等西方节日。 教具准备 多媒体课件录音机磁带教学过程 2、任务呈现与课文导入 1)老师向学生出示与圣诞节相关的图片,让学生回答问题: When is the Christmas Day? Do you like it? What do people do on Christmas? 2)用同样的方式谈论万圣节。 3)出示美国国旗,问学生是否了解美国有一个关于国旗的节日和一个感恩节。大多数同学可能都不知道。老师告诉学生,美国有一个传统的“Flag Day”。再向学生出示一些有关于感恩节的图片,询问学生是否知道这些图表现的是什么节日。同学们可能不知道,教师引导学生开始今天的课文学习。告诉学生:通过今天的学习,大家可以了解到西方的两个节日以及庆祝这两个节日的传统方式。学习过后把这些知识告诉自己的家人和朋友。 Show the pictures: Look at the pictures: T: What’s in the pictures? S: These pictures are about American festivals. T: What do they do on the festival? Simon can tell us. Finish the test before class with 3 minutes. 4)讲解本课生词T: Who wants to be a little teacher? Who can teach the other students? 3、课文学习 1)Listen, read and act out环节。 播放录音,让学生看图认真听,要求学生: a)了解故事大意,明确主题,形成整体印象。 b)弄懂比较容易理解和掌握的句子,大致明确难点在哪里,尝试概括全文大意。 c)尝试理解较难的句子,结合上下文理解,逐渐把握全文。 2)讲解课文中出现的生词。 Festival 节日 special 特别的 meal 一顿饭 sound 听起来 lantern 灯笼 Flag Day 国旗节 thanksgiving 感恩节 3)放录音,思考下列问题,例如:文中Daming和Simon谈到了哪几个美国节日?分别是什么?人们以什么方式庆祝这些节日? T: What do you do on Flag Day? Ss: We carry flags and sing songs. T: What do you do on Thanksgiving? Ss: We always have a special meal. We say “thank you” for our food, family and friends.
