l教师说:Weve learnt a lot about different kinds of birds. What kinds of birds did we learn about?复习前一课时学过的鸟类名称。教师继续说:What do they look like? 复习这些鸟类的基本特点。教师接着说:Some of them are now rare. Theyre in danger.
2教师继续说:Many birds are in danger. What can we do? We can build nature reserves for birds. The Chinese government has built many nature reserves for birds. Zhalong is one of them. Today were going to learn about Zhalong. 板书nature和government,确保学生理解意思并掌握读音。

1教师通过以下问题向学生介绍扎龙自然保护区的基本情况,引出本课中一些重要单词,同时也检查学生对本课内容的预习情况。
(1) Wheres Zhalong? (Its in Heilongjiang Province in North-east China.)
(2) What kind of land is there in Zhalong? (There are wetlands in Zhalong.)教师板书wetland,结合图片介绍wetland的基本知识。
(3) Why are the wetlands important for the wildlife? (Because they provide food and cover for the wildlife.) 教师板书wildlife、provide和cover,领读并解释。
(4) Whats Zhalong famous for? (Its famous for many kinds of birds. Every year, a lot of tourists go to Zhalong to watch t
