The frequency of cellsw ithm icronuclei is a good indicator of the cytogenetic effects of test ed pollutionm atter as chem icals. The plantm icronucleus technology is a useful tool of environmentalpollutionmo nitoring. It can detect the effect degree of heavy metalmatter, harm ful gas, organic matter in atmosphere, water and soilwhichw ill do harm to the organism s chromosomes.
