Deutsche Bank Markets Research Emerging Markets Company Date Chile Empresa Nacional de 12 September 2017 Petroleo Xavier Olave IG Corporate Credit Research Analyst Energy (+1) 212 250-6135 xavier.olave@ Eduardo Vieira Initiating on 47 Bond Issuance with a Research Analyst (+1) 212 250-7568 SELL rating eduardo.vieira@ We are initiating coverage of the USD600mn ENAPCL 4.5% ’47 notes with a SELL recommendation; we see the bond as the richest on the LatAm 30-year sector on a relative value basis, despite the company’s relatively weak credit fundamentals (offset by government support) On 9/11/2017, ENAP (Baa3/BBB-/A) issued (at a discount price of USD97.13) USD600mn 144A/RegS senior unsecured international notes with a coupon rate of 4.5% (yield of ~4.7% with a maturity of September 2047). We are initiating coverage of the new issue with a ‘SELL’ rating. The new issue’s z- spread of ~230bp is the tightest among the company’s peer group in Emerging Markets (in the 30-year bond sector).
