There re generally tw o group s of m ethods for the com putation of floor sp ectrum. The first group includes the so- called direct m ethods, where the floor spectrum is ca lculated directly from respon se sp ectrum of input ground m ot ion. W hile the second group includes tmi e-history ana lysis m ethods, transient ana lysis is characterized w ith tmi e-h istory input as excitation.
