ABSTRACT
As Chinas economy is growing stronger, more and more countries and regions have competed to enter the Chinese market. However, because of problems those occur in business negotiations, two parts often resulting in unnecessary misunderstanding and even affect the opportunities for cooperation. Therefore, in the cooperation and exchanges, communication is very important. In China economic and trade fields, business negotiation is a process must go through, and is a prerequisite for trade. In order to get business opportunities in the negotiating process is the only succeed, not fail. Since ancient times, China is a state of ceremonies, in business negotiations, in addition to understanding with the relevant professional knowledge, based on local culture and customer master but also national, regional customs, traditions, lifestyles and values, politeness is crucial part in the possession. In this paper, the purpose of the study is the proper use of politeness principle, thereby reducing the country to trade with China when the communication problems. This paper by introducing the principles of politeness in the areas of pragmatics, the theory and previous research results, as well as the definition and characteristics of business negotiations, which to deeply analyze the application of politeness principle in the business negotiation. The main research method of this thesis is analysis and comparison, by comparing the number of different examples of business negotiations in the use of the principle of courtesy,
