This article outlines the C Programming Language Online Examination System designing and implementation, using ASP language and SQL server2000 database management. The system mainly introduces the process of online examinations, including system analysis, data flow analysis, database designing, the systems operating environment, functional designing and system implementation. The system is mainly used for two types of staff: one is the administrator (teacher), another is regular student. They have different permissions. Administrators can manage and create test papers. Students can select one of the papers and answer it after logging in. Once the papers is submitted, the score will be stored in the database, then system administrators can check results of the candidates. Each candidate can only check their own performances.
