Methods Acute oral toxicity, several times of skin irritationtest and subacute toxicity test were conducted for the study. Results Acute oral LD of Kunming male and female mice was greater than 5, 000 mg/ kg# 50 bw in this study. The stable chlorine dioxide hand disinfectant hadno irritation to intact skin of rabbits. Inthe subacute toxicity test, after 28 days feeding, growth and develo ment of animals in each dose grou were good, there was no statistically sig- nificant difference com ared with normal control grou . The routine blood test and blood biochemical indices of animals ineach dose grou showed no statistically significant difference com ared with the control grou .
