Many re- searches have identified that fear of childbirth was the reason why pregnant women requested for caesarean sections without medical indicators. This article revealed the research status of fear of childbirth, aiming to make medical workers pay attention to this field, meanwhile, to analyze the current research gap in China and to predict the future research.
