Abstract: It is objective that the e is a semantic system and g id of Chinese lexical,
which shows on the lexical fo ms ( including wo ds spoken and w itten fo ms) . It benefits the
lexical teaching of CSL ( Chinese as a second language) , and can be used to efficiently enla ge
the lea ne s vocabula y quant ity. He e it is posed the p inciples and st ategies of lexical
teaching based on the semantic g id of Chinese vocabula y: while teaching single- syllable
wo d, highlighting the p inciple of linking the w itten fo m, p onunciat ion and meaning; while
teaching compound wo d, highlighting the p inciple of analyzing mo pheme.
