* Unit 8　Is there a post office near here? 第三课时　(Grammar Focus-3c)—单元同步语法精讲精练 there be句型 ?定义：there be句型也称为“存在句”，表示“某地有某人/物”。 ?句式结构及用法 (1)there be句型的肯定句结构为：There be＋名词(主语)＋地点副词/介词短语(表示地点)。there be句型属于倒装句，主语通常放在谓语后面，动词be为谓语。be动词应根据主语的单复数而变化，主语是单数或不可数名词，用there is；若主语是复数用there are。 eg：There are 50 students in our class.我们班有50个学生。 (2)there be句型中的谓语应和后面的主语保持一致，若有两个或两个以上的主语，动词be的形式应由最近的那个主语的数决定，即遵循“就近原则”。 eg：There is a pencil and two books on the desk. ＝There are two books and a pencil on the desk.课桌上有一支铅笔(两本书)和两本书(一支铅笔)。 (3)there be句型的否定句，直接在be动词后加not；其一般疑问句，要将be动词放在句首。肯定回答为“Yes，there is/ are.”；否定回答
