The rapid development of convenience stores, resulting in the increasingly fierce competition, the convenience store location planning research has become an important topic in the development, through the location analysis can determine the most investment potential site. In recent years, GIS technology has wide application in many fields, especially in spatial analysis of GIS is very suitable for city commercial site, provides spatial data powerful analysis means for the study, the combination of qualitative and quantitative research. This paper research GIS technology combined with the geographical environment based on location, convenient store location planning has carried on the beneficial exploration. The paper analyses the relevant factors to the convenience store location, comprehensive consideration of the spatial distribution of the population, traffic accessibility, the existing retail competition and other factors, to realize the quantitative analysis of the convenience store values. Taking chengdu city as the research scope, with the aid of GIS spatial analysis ability, visualization analysis of many factors that affects the convenience store location, the buffer analysis, overlay analysis concluded that regional location decision, then compare
