This situation is due to the fact that the ational unde standing of cultu e teaching in TCFL lags fa behind the teaching p actice. Evalua2 tion of the eality in cultu e textbook compiling eveals the following main p oblems: unclea definition of cultu e and cultu e textbooks; confusions of cultu e teaching in TCFL and teaching cultu e to fo 2 eigne s; lack of consensus conce ning the content and a angement of a cultu e textbook. To solve these p oblems, suggestions a e given in this pape : a) to set a syllabus fo cultu e teaching in TCFL; b) to dete mine a hie a chy of diffe ent items fo cultu e teaching in TCFL; c) to develop a new pa adigm fo cultu e textbook compiling and cultu e teaching in TCFL.
