IntroductionWith the universal implementation of quality education, it is a trend to use multi media techniques in Englishteaching to improve teaching efficiency and teaching quality.Multimedia technology has flexibility, creativity, vivid description and authenticity, which provide a broad space for Englishteaching. But nowadays in Englishteaching, a lot of teachers still use the traditional methodswhich concentrate on vocabulary and grammar and provide the students little opportunities to listen, speak, read and write. For example, the students have learned more than 500 words, but they cannot introduce themselves in English. Teacher-centered classroom teaching efficiency is rather low, and the students’ ability to use language is quite poor.
