The formation of new words has a close relationship to development of the objective world, social practice, and culture. Neologisms reflect the social life and cultural psychology of a nation. Social life in a certain period has a special effect on the language while the language in a certain period reflects the social life then, which is the sociality of language. This paper aims at letting people know about English neologisms and their formation, and illustrating the sociality of language from the following aspects: the development of science and technology, popularity of computer and Internet, rapid change of the current political situation and change of thought and moral view.
