Based on the field investigation, the paper analyzes the values and features of the world cultural heritage resources in South ongting Lake,discusses and figures out scientifically its eco-tourism values and products. The study shows that the quality of the cultural heritageresources there meets the standards of the Convention Concerning Protection of the World C lt ral and Nat ral Heritage and is characteristic of long history, rich landscape diversity, and prominentw
