外文原文 The Development of a Remote Patient Monitoring System Using Java-enabled Mobile Phones Abstract: A remote patient monitoring system is described.This system is to monitor information of multiple patients in ICU/CCU via 3G mobile phones. Conventionally, various patient information, such as vital signs, is collected and stored on patient information systems. In proposed system, the patient information is recollected by remote information server, and transported to mobile phones. The server is worked as a gateway between hospital intranet and public networks. Provided information from the server consists of graphs and text data. Doctors can browse patient’s information on their mobile phones via the server. A custom Java application software is used to browse these data. In this study, the information server and Java application are developed, and communication between the server and mobile phone in model environment is confirmed. To apply this system to practical products of patient information systems is future work. I. INTRODUCTION Recently, computers and networks are widely used in medical field as growth of information technology. Many systems to support doctor’s activities using computers and networks are introduced. One of the most familiar and simple technologies is a mobile phone. Mobile phones that integrate various functions, such as personal information management, camera and application platform, are increasing rapidly. In addition, 3G (third generation) mobile phone make possible to transfer large data, such as photos, movies and application files etc. The use of these mobile phones in medical field has much possibilities to bring new era of medicine. In this paper we developed really new form of the telemedicine system. Through the Internet doctors can quickly get not only voice information, but also visual information of patient’s body signal. The system consists of a set of biomedical monitors, the remote information server and a Java-enabled 3G m
