Unit 7 (1)Passage:The explosions in late June 1908 in the Tunguska region of Siberia, Russia is most likely to be a large, methane gas explosion.(1) Many expeditions have shown that there is no evidence about an asteroid strike - neither rocks or material from an asteroid nor witnesses have emerged.(2) Tunguska has none large impact craters that asteroid sites usually have.(3) Tunguska has high levels of methane gas. There might be a high concentration of methane gas built up underground.Lecture:The Tunguska explosion was mostly likely to have been caused by an asteroid strike.(1) Many people have witnessed the bright light that could serve as the evidence of the mass explosion.(2) The bright light was on the sky so that no crater have been found. Also, the rocks were likely to be washed away or to small to be recognized.(3) The Tunguska lacks such a sheer value of gas that is required for explosion. Also, if explosions happened there should be fires nearby. However no there were no fire burning in the forest.Unit 7 (2)Passage:The life in some basic form in Mars may actually exist.(1) There is methane gas on Mars. These gas could be replenished by some living organism, (2) Two meteorites come from Mars shows some signs of having fossilized bacteria.(3) Recent space probes have found evidences of large quantities of water.Lecture:The investigation need to be continued as non of the evidences are proven to be 100% certifiable.(1) Methane gas may be produced by volcanos on Mars instead of living bacteria.(2) The meteorites from are not certainly really from Mars. They could just from earth. Also, there only two specimens that it is not reasonable to draw a conclusion based on such a too small sample.(3) Most of the water found on Mars are frozen. It is not clear whether the flowing water really exists. Even if the flowing water exists, it takes sometime to take a look as what exists underground.有一点可以注意。就是不需要带一些连接，如too、such之类的，甚至语义都可以不用管，反正也可以根据主体部分的中心思想来推测出来。这两篇感觉相对简单。
